Hiya Friends! My name is Bonita, and I'm a beautiful 2-year-old female German Shepherd with a heart full of love and a zest for life! I was mistreated in my past, but thanks to the care of IDGSR, I'm now healthy, happy, and ready to find my forever family. I have high energy and a super smart brain, so I'm looking for someone who can help me learn and grow into the bestest girl I can be. I love being with my people, whether we're going on adventures like walks or hikes, helping in the kitchen, or just hanging out in the yard. Ideal Home

I would do well with kids 10 and older. I also enjoy the company of large dogs and would love a male canine companion to share zoomies and playtime. I am not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is a must.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and monthly preventatives. I have also been spayed.

Training & Support

I need full obedience training. I'm a quick learner, especially if cheese or hot dogs are involved! I have high energy and would benefit from consistent training and enrichment.

Transportation

I am currently being fostered in Tennessee. We do transport dogs to the east coast, and a transport fee will apply.
