Meet Doug!

Doug is a 5-year-old Great Dane who came to us in heartbreaking condition, severely emaciated, but still full of love for people. Despite his past, he's proven to be an incredibly sweet, gentle boy who just wants to be close to his humans. Doug is a true people-lover and does great with other dogs. He's eager to please, already knows sit and paw, and is both housebroken and crate trained.

Ideal Home

Doug is looking for a home where he can continue to heal, gain strength, and finally be treated like the big, loving companion he was always meant to be. His ideal home would not include small children or cats.

Ongoing Health

Doug has been neutered, is current on vaccines, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Doug is housebroken and crate trained, and he already knows "sit" and "paw." He's eager to please, which will make training a joy!
