Dolce

Meet Dolce! This delightful 1-year-old, 45-pound Staffie mix is a bundle of joy with a wonderfully balanced personality. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on preventatives, making her ready to charm her way into your heart and home. Dolce has a sweet nature and is a bit independent, but her favorite thing in the world is to be your loyal adventure buddy. She's got soulful eyes and an enthusiastic wiggle that will greet you at the door, ready for whatever the day brings.

Ideal Home

Dolce would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore and stretch her legs. She enjoys playtime with other dogs her size, but is also content to relax and lounge on her own. While she hasn't been around cats closely, she tends to bark when she sees them through a window. She has a gentle demeanor that suggests she would do well with older, dog-savvy children.

Ongoing Health

Dolce is spayed and current on all vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

Dolce walks beautifully on a leash and doesn't pull. She has no noted separation anxiety or potty issues and doesn't exhibit destructive behavior when left alone. She's not currently crated. Dolce can be a little barky and jumpy when meeting new people and may be initially shy, so slow and calm introductions are key. She has not shown any resource guarding with her current foster siblings, but feeding bowls separately in a new home is always a good practice during the transition.

Dolce is currently in Houston, Texas. Transports run every few weeks and she will be scheduled on the next available transport once approved.
