Betsy

Betsy is a sweet girl who came into rescue with several medical concerns. She's now spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm and parasites. Betsy was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease, which is manageable with daily medication that costs approximately $80-$100 per month and will be needed for the rest of her life.

Despite her diagnosis, Betsy is an absolute joy! She's estimated to be around 12 years old and weighs 19 pounds. She gets along well with other dogs, except at mealtime. Betsy is very food motivated and needs to be fed separately to prevent her from sampling other dogs' food. She uses the doggie door like a pro, rides wonderfully in the car, and loves to cuddle. Betsy is the perfect mix of couch companion and walking buddy, always ready for a TV marathon or a leisurely stroll. This sweet senior is looking for a loving home to enjoy her golden years.
