Meet Mikey!

This sweet 3-year-old, 8-pound mixed breed pup is looking for his forever home. Mikey was sadly surrendered when his previous adopter passed away. He's a bundle of energy and curiosity, always ready for a game of fetch, a neighborhood stroll, or a squeaky-toy session (he's obsessed!). When first meeting new people, Mikey can be a little shy and bark, but he warms up quickly, especially with treats. Once comfortable, he becomes a loyal shadow, happy to be by your side.

Ideal Home

Mikey would thrive in a home where someone is often present and enjoys daily walks. He's looking for a playful and opinionated companion and would do best in a home without young children due to his tendency to nip during play.

Mikey is a healthy pup.

Training & Support

Mikey is crate trained (treats help!) and house-trained when on a consistent schedule, especially if he can follow another dog outside for potty breaks. He is treat-motivated, knows "no," and is learning "sit." He can be a bit nippy during play, so continued positive reinforcement training is recommended. He also makes "gremlin-like" noises when he wants something and will bark to demand playtime.
