About Oreo (great with kids, calm, house trained, cuddly, friendly)

Oreo is a sweet girl with a personality to match her name! After spending 10 long months in a shelter, she's now in a foster home and ready for her forever family. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a toy in her mouth, always eager to share the love. Oreo adores children and has a special bond with the 19-month-old toddler in her foster home. She also gets along wonderfully with her male boxer foster brother, who has shown her the ropes. Oreo is a true people-pleaser and thrives on affection, often seeking out belly rubs and showing her joy with a happy thump of her tail on the couch.

Ideal Home

Oreo would thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of love and attention. She enjoys playtime and is a fan of fetch, especially with her beloved stuffies. She also loves to splash around in water, making her a great companion for summer fun! If you have another dog, Oreo would do best with a laid-back male who can handle her occasional vocalizations on walks.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has undergone heartworm treatment and is now healthy and ready for her forever home.

Training & Support

Oreo is house-trained and can be left alone without any destructive behaviors. She is currently working on her vocalizations when she sees other dogs on walks, and her foster mom is making great progress. With a little patience and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to shine.
