NALA

Nala is an 11-month-old female German Shepherd mix who was unfortunately surrendered to a kill shelter at just five weeks old due to a special condition. We were happy to rescue her and give her the chance at a beautiful life she deserves! Nala was born with Megaesophagus, which means she needs to sit upright for 30 minutes after eating to help her food digest properly. We fondly call this "Nala's snuggle time," and she enjoys this quiet, one-on-one time with her humans, often resting or napping. Despite this, Nala is a happy, active puppy who loves to play with her siblings. She's incredibly sweet and friendly towards everyone, including other dogs, children, and all people. Nala enjoys cuddles and playing with toys and has a low to medium energy level. She is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and fully house-trained.

Nala has Megaesophagus and requires a 30-minute upright resting period after each meal.
