Rocky

Rocky is a resilient and determined gentleman who has truly shown us what it means to overcome adversity. He joined our SCI Chester foster program in August 2025 and has been on an incredible journey of transformation. Originally a friendly, eager, and mouthy puppy from ACCT, Rocky has matured beautifully and faced challenges head-on. He bravely underwent surgery to remove a grapefruit-sized tumor from his abdomen and emerged stronger than ever. Thanks to the dedication of his handlers, Rocky is now a calm, composed, and well-trained companion who still loves to play, be goofy, and soak up all the affection he can get. Rocky has been overlooked for too long, but he's one of our greatest success stories and has truly earned his chance at a happy ending.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can continue to be the well-trained gentleman he has become, while still having opportunities to play and be goofy.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is a survivor! He bravely underwent surgery to remove a large tumor from his abdomen and has recovered wonderfully, emerging stronger than ever.

Training & Support

Rocky is now a calm, composed, and well-trained dog. He knows how to play and is affectionate, playful, and friendly.
