Owen (20260627-05)

Owen is a delightful 2-month-old Golden Lab mix puppy with a bright future! He's one of nine siblings who, after an unexpected arrival of pups, made their way to us from Northern Manitoba. Raised in a loving home environment with children and other dogs, Owen is already displaying wonderful traits like friendliness, sociability, playfulness, and affection. He's a happy-go-lucky pup who is just starting to explore the world around him and exhibits all the normal, curious behaviors of a young puppy. Owen is learning to sleep in a crate with his siblings and rides well in the car. He's a blank slate with endless potential, eager to learn and grow into a well-adjusted family pet.

Ideal Home

Owen will thrive in a home that understands the commitment of raising a young puppy. He needs patient and committed adopters who can provide consistent supervision, positive reinforcement, and a lot of love. Because he is still a puppy and prone to chewing, especially while teething, he will need redirection and appropriate chew toys. Owen needs a yard and cannot live in an apartment. While he doesn't necessarily need another dog, he would likely enjoy the companionship.

Owen is not yet spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Owen is still working on crate training and house training, and his future family will need to continue these efforts. He is also beginning to learn basic manners and socialization. Continued exposure to new people, places, and experiences will be crucial for building his confidence. He is highly food-motivated and will excel with positive training methods. Puppy energy means he'll have bursts of play followed by much-needed naps.
