Delta Dawn

Meet Delta Dawn! This spunky, beautiful, and smart shepherd mix was born around December 2019. She's a medium-sized girl who has already had quite an adventure in her young life. Originally a stray from the Navajo Nation, she arrived with her siblings and has since come to us, ready to find her forever family.

Delta Dawn absolutely loves the outdoors, long hikes, and is mastering leash and harness walking. She's incredibly athletic and her favorite pastime is chasing a ball! She forms deep bonds with people who dedicate time to her and is excellent at coming when called. She also gets along well with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Delta Dawn would thrive in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. She is still working on warming up to strangers and would do best with a patient adopter willing to spend time with her to help her feel secure.

Delta Dawn is in good health.

Training & Support

Delta Dawn is learning to walk confidently without pulling and is becoming desensitized to new sounds and environments. She enjoys car rides and is a calm passenger. Continued patience and positive reinforcement will help her continue to blossom.
