Lexi

Lexi is a beautiful, playful, and loving girl looking for her forever home! This estimated 2-3 year old sweetheart came to us as a stray after being hit by a car. She sustained a severe pelvic fracture that required 8 weeks of crate rest. While Lexi wasn't the most patient patient during her recovery, she's now healed up and ready to play! Her past injury has reduced her speed, but it certainly hasn't diminished her determination.

Ideal Home

Lexi would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or with a responsible owner committed to leash walking her to keep her safe from traffic. She is dog and kid friendly and has shown happy excitement around cats, so with an experienced owner of cats and dogs, she could potentially live with them. Lexi is protective and will bark to alert you to her home and humans, but she warms up quickly to guests.

Ongoing Health

Lexi will need continued supplements to support her pelvis and help delay the onset of arthritis.
