Bonnie

Bonnie is a 5-year-old, 60-pound Lab/Pittie mix who was found as a stray with her friend Clyde. She's a sweet, shy girl who enjoys lounging and sunbathing. Bonnie has a low energy level, preferring to relax on the couch or in the grass rather than engage in extensive play. She can play gently with a ball for a short time before returning to her lounging.

Ideal Home

Bonnie would thrive in a quiet and patient home. She would absolutely love to have another dog in the home. She is more comfortable around females but is learning to trust males with patience. We believe she would be a great companion for older children who can respect her boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Bonnie is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed. She has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Bonnie is fully potty trained and crate trained. She sees her crate as a safe space and settles in quickly without fuss. While generally good with cats, she did have one instance of chasing a cat when a human intervened quickly. She is shy when meeting new people and needs time to warm up and feel comfortable. If there are men in the home, she will need a patient male who understands her need for space to build trust.

Transportation

Bonnie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She is eligible for transport to an adopter once one is lined up.
