Bruno Mars - A Gentle Giant

Say hello to Bruno, the sweetest, cuddliest 7-year-old, 80 lb boy who’s ready to bring calm, comfort, and love into his forever home! Bruno is as gentle and laid-back as they come. He absolutely loves belly rubs, cozy cuddle time, and just being close to his people. He gets excited in the morning when his foster parents wake up and during meal times, showing his happiness with cute hops and barks. He’s a sweet gentle giant that would love nothing more than a calm home with lots of affection. This boy loves his cuddles! Bruno is a goofball, and while he isn't very playful, he occasionally gets zoomies for a couple of minutes. We love to see him run back and forth and feel carefree and happy! Afterwards, he is ready to go back to the couch. He often lays on his back and makes funny faces while he relaxes. Bruno is great with other dogs and would do well in a home with canine companions, but he’s just as happy soaking up attention from just his humans. He is the perfect gentleman and is easy to introduce to new people and pets. Bruno is potty trained, leash trained, kennel trained, and has wonderful house manners.

Ideal Home

Bruno would thrive in a calm home with lots of affection. He may initially feel nervous about confinement, kennels, car rides, or being left alone, so patience and time to decompress are important.

Ongoing Health

Bruno has just finished up heartworm treatment and is doing wonderfully! He has no limitations as a result of the heartworm prognosis.

Training & Support

Bruno may need some patience to adjust to new environments and overcome his fear of confinement. Once comfortable, he can be kenneled successfully and rides well in the car, though he prefers short trips. He will come with a large kennel to aid in his adjustment.

• The adoption fee of $200 includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, DHPP and booster, and Bordatella), microchip with free lifetime registration, deworming, transport, heartworm test, and heartworm and flea prevention during his time in our program, as well as 2 free months of heartworm and flea prevention.

Transportation

Bruno is located in South Texas and can be transported to the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and the East Coast.
