Marley Mae is a visually stunning and incredibly sweet brindle mix, believed to be around 4 years old and weighing 58 lbs. She's a charming blend of playful energy and cozy homebody, with a loving nature that shines once she feels comfortable. Marley Mae takes a little time to warm up to new people and environments, but her trust is easily won with patience and gentle kindness. Once she bonds with you, she becomes the most devoted and affectionate companion, always wanting to be near. She especially opens up quickly to women and will melt your heart with her genuine affection.
Ideal Home
Marley Mae would thrive in a home with a backyard, preferably in a quieter, more residential area away from the hustle and bustle of city life. She enjoys a slower pace and would do best with people who share that mindset. She is also looking for a home with at least one other dog to be her companion, as she enjoys their company and learns from them.
Ongoing Health
Marley Mae is a rescue dog, and as such, her exact breed and age cannot be guaranteed. She is up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP vaccinations, Bordetella, Rabies, and multiple deworming treatments. She has also been spayed, received flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Marley Mae has fantastic house manners, is not destructive, and is reliably house-trained and crate-trained. She is also a wonderful car rider, even on longer trips. While she is generally gentle, she can sometimes be startled by loud noises or fast movements, especially when first adjusting to a new environment. She has done well with children as young as 5 years old, but slow introductions are key. She is also good with other dogs and respectful of cats.

Marley Mae is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
