Meet Katie! She's a sweet and strong girl who was found as a stray in Dauphin, PA this past summer. Katie is a master of kennel cleanliness and, with a little encouragement, she's learning to walk beautifully on leash. She can be a bit reserved when she first meets new people, taking time to warm up, but once she's comfortable, she's a pro at giving the best hugs!

Ideal Home

Katie is dog selective, meaning she's looking for a home where she can be the only canine companion or perhaps with a very carefully chosen canine friend. Due to not knowing her history, we are recommending no small children or cats for her new home.

Ongoing Health

Katie is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

While Katie is house-trained and has a generally good temperament, she does need a patient adopter who will provide slow intros to build trust. Once she feels secure, her affectionate side truly shines!
