He’s a total lover boy who is completely committed to being by your side. He has a goofy side that comes out in the sweetest ways, but at his core, he’s a total snuggle bug. Franky is a pit bull mix, approximately 1 year old and weighs 56 lbs. He has the perfect amount of squish wrinkles and muscle, with a cute little underbite that gives him a charming pout. As with any rescue, his exact breed and age can't be guaranteed.
Ideal Home
Franky is a social butterfly who loves people and being close. He enjoys walks, casual outings, and car rides, but his favorite part of any day is downtime with you. He’s content living a cozy lifestyle and is happy to join you for light adventures before melting into the couch for snuggles. He would do well with another dog who enjoys a mix of play and relaxation, but he doesn't require a canine companion to thrive. He would be best placed in a home without a cat.

Training & Support
Franky is a smart pup who loves treats and is eager to please. He already knows how to sit, responds well to gentle corrections, and is fairly easy to walk on a leash, though he may pull a little out of excitement initially. He settles quickly with guidance. Franky is crate trained, potty trained, and has great house manners, making him a joy to have around. His eagerness to please and calm, affectionate nature will make any continued training feel easy and enjoyable.

Franky is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real-time. There is an $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
