MURPHY

Murphy (A566991) is a sweet boy with an equally sweet personality. He is a friendly, outgoing guy who is always happy to meet new people and does not hide his excitement about making new friends. When he first says hello, he might jump up, but he responds well to simple corrections and listens surprisingly well for a young dog. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys being outside where the world feels big and exciting. Indoors, Murphy definitely has a little FOMO, always wanting to know what everyone is doing. Outside though, he is totally content entertaining himself. He loves running around the yard, checking out every smell he can find and exploring like he has a personal mission to investigate every blade of grass. Unfortunately Murphy has not tested well with other dogs and will likely need to be the only dog in the home. It is not that he is unfriendly, he just becomes overwhelmed and does best when he does not have to share his space. For someone who wants a single dog to love and spoil, Murphy could be a perfect fit. He is affectionate, energetic and so ready to become someone’s best friend. Murphy is estimated to be around 1 year old and weighs 57 pounds.
