Jockey is a fun-loving, athletic boy who brings enthusiasm to everything he does, whether he's racing around the play yard, heading out on a walk, or chasing after his favorite toys. He's a happy, bouncy guy who thrives when he has an outlet for both his body and his brain. Jockey absolutely loves toys, especially a good game of fetch or tug, and he's happiest when he has room to run and play. After he gets some of that puppy energy out, he settles in nicely and becomes much easier to focus. He's eager to interact with people, enjoys learning, and responds well to treats and positive attention. Like many young dogs, Jockey is still polishing his manners. He can get excited enough to jump up or become a little mouthy during play, but he redirects well with guidance and would do best with a family that's excited to continue his training. He can also be a little startled by unexpected sights or sounds at times, so building his confidence through positive experiences will help him continue to blossom.
