Rebel and Dinky

Rebel and Dinky are a bonded pair of 13-year-old Chihuahuas who have been through a lot recently. They were surrendered after their owner passed away and then transferred from a shelter in WV to us here at Angel Ridge Animal Rescue. They are understandably confused and have been sticking close together for comfort. Both Rebel (yellow coat) and Dinky (white with gray) show common signs of aging, including dental issues, some lumps, and overgrown nails. However, they are still young for their breed and have the potential to be wonderful, happy companions for many more years, especially for a senior individual or couple. They must be adopted together.

Ideal Home

Rebel and Dinky would do well in a home that can provide them with extra warmth in the winter and perhaps a cooler environment during hot summer months. They are comfortable and secure in a crate.

Ongoing Health

Rebel and Dinky are both seniors and have age-related conditions such as dental issues and some lumps and bumps. Their toenails will require regular maintenance.

Training & Support

These two are most comfortable using pee pads. They also seem to be well-adjusted to crate living.
