About Chevy Teddy Your Snuggly Best Friend

Chevy Teddy is a 9-month-old Lab mix, weighing around 37 lbs, with a personality that's as sweet as can be and an energy level that's delightfully mellow. He's a handsome boy with a forever puppy-dog face, big paws, and a medium-sized frame that's just ridiculously cute. While some might call him a little lazy, we think he's the most chill, unbothered prince charming we've ever met! He's a rescue dog, so while we believe he's around 9 months old, we can't guarantee breed or age. Chevy Teddy is a gentle soul who enjoys a good play session but also loves to just relax and hang out. He's already shown great social skills with other dogs, including dominant and shy personalities, and is quite submissive, often rolling over to show his belly. He was also respectful and gentle around the resident cat during his introduction.

Ideal Home

Chevy Teddy would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can explore and lounge in the sun. He'd do best with a doggy sibling who enjoys gentle play and knows when to take breaks, or he'd be perfectly happy as your one and only companion. He's adaptable and happy with a good walk, some playtime, or just cuddling on the couch.

Ongoing Health

Chevy Teddy is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been heartworm tested.

Training & Support

Chevy Teddy is already well-behaved and seems to have wonderful house manners for his age. He's working on his leash skills and knows basic commands like "sit." He's a smart boy who is eager to please and enjoys learning. He is crate trained and appears to be potty trained, though he may need a little guidance in a new environment.
