Mars

Hi there! I'm Mars, and if you're looking for a big-hearted best friend, I might just be your guy. Some people think I'm a Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix, but what I know for sure is that I'm about 4 years old and 97 lbs of pure love. I'm all about my people and love everyone I meet. If you've got attention to give, I'm ready to soak it up! I'm house-trained, sort of crate-trained (I might chat a little when I'm in there, but I'd rather hang out on your sofa or bed), and I know my basic obedience skills. I've lived with both big and small dogs and enjoy getting out for walks and adventures. Cats? I'm not sure; I haven't really met any yet.

Ideal Home

My dream home would definitely have a yard where I can stretch out and enjoy the fresh air. Because I'm a big guy, I'd do best with older, sturdy kids or teens who can keep up with me.

Ongoing Health

I do have a bit of a funky leg from an old injury, but don't worry, it doesn't slow me down at all! I've been checked out by a top orthopedic surgeon, and while I'm not a candidate for surgery, I get around just fine and live a happy, active life.

Training & Support

I'm house-trained and know my basic obedience skills. I'm also sort of crate-trained, but I might bark a bit when left alone. I'd much prefer to relax with you!
