Peanut

Hi there! My name is Peanut, and I'm a 6-month-old German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and Lab mix. My siblings and I were born as strays, but a kind person rescued us and brought us to safety. Now, I'm ready to find my forever family!

I can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new things, but once I feel comfortable, my fun and affectionate personality really comes out. My foster family says I'm a charmer – playful, loving, and full of personality! I love my toys and can entertain myself for hours, then I'm ready for snuggles.

Ideal Home

I do great with other dogs and truly thrive when I have a canine friend by my side. Because I can be a little timid at first, I'm looking for a home with another friendly, confident dog that I can learn from and gain confidence from. Having a dog companion helps me feel secure and brings out my playful side.

Training & Support

I am both potty trained and crate trained and have done wonderfully with my routines. I enjoy being around people and am ready to continue learning and growing with a patient family who will help me build confidence and show me just how wonderful life can be.

Transporation

Peanut is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure pets arrive safely and keep adopters informed every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so families can meet their new companion and ensure its a good fit.
