Sandy is the canine equivalent of a deep, calming breath after a long day. She's gentle, thoughtful, and possesses a peaceful presence that is truly grounding. While she might not be the most boisterous dog in the room, once you connect with her, you'll find her quiet company to be incredibly special. Sandy thrives in a calmer environment and blossoms when given the time and space to feel safe and comfortable. She's not demanding; she simply "is," and her presence has a way of softening a home.
Her approach to affection is slow and steady. Sandy prefers to take her time getting to know new people, observing her surroundings before offering her trust. Once she bonds, she's deeply loyal and becomes a comforting shadow. She's polite and respectful with other dogs, coexisting peacefully without needing to be the center of attention. Sandy has also shown herself to be respectful and non-threatening towards cats. Walks are a wonderful way to build a connection with her, as she enjoys getting out and finds security in a shared rhythm. She would do best in a home that appreciates a slower pace and allows her to continue building confidence without pressure.
