Meet Venus! This 5-year-old, 45 lb spayed female Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix is a truly sweet and affectionate girl. Venus loves to rest her head on your lap and gaze at you with adoration. She's a calm and people-oriented companion who's happy to match your energy, whether that's lounging on the couch or heading out for an adventure.
Venus enjoys playing with other dogs, especially during backyard zoomies, and loves to romp and wrestle. She's also a big fan of toys and enjoys interactive play with her humans. If there's water involved, Venus is in her element, whether it's a kiddie pool or a stream on a hike! She's also a fantastic car rider, making her the perfect co-pilot for any journey.
Ideal Home
Venus has shown a strong interest in chasing cats, so a cat-free home or one with very dog-savvy cats would be best for her. While she hasn't met young children, she might do well in a family with older, respectful kids who understand boundaries.

Venus is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and can be trusted when left loose in the house. She is still working on leash manners as she can pull, but she is a quick learner and very food motivated. Transporation
Venus is currently being fostered in Woodinville, WA. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be placed on the next available transport once approved. Out-of-state adoptions are possible for approved adopters.
