Hey there! Louise here, and I'm looking for my very own Thelma to ride shotgun with me.

I am a 2-year-old, 70-pound, hound/beagle mix gal. I am friendly, playful, and a bit nervous/skittish. I love to play with squeaky toys, especially ones that squeak easily enough for me to boop it with my nose. I am leash and house trained, but I really dislike crates.

Ideal Home

I need a home with a yard for me to run and play in – no apartments for me! Another dog to play with would be great, but I'll be happy as an only dog if I get plenty of playtime and attention from my people. My ideal family is home more often than not and will take me with them on adventures to dog-friendly places whenever possible. I get along with other dogs, cats, and bigger, sturdier children, but I might accidentally knock little ones over.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee of $150 includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.

Training & Support

I am house and leash trained. I am a bit nervous/skittish, so a patient and understanding family will be key to helping me feel secure.

I am located in Springfield, MO. Adopters are responsible for coming to get me and returning me if the adoption does not work out.
