Tiger

Tiger is a 15-month-old, 60-pound mixed breed with a heart of gold! He was rescued from a local shelter where he was sadly on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Tiger is a bundle of puppy energy, and he absolutely thrives with plenty of exercise. He loves to run, chase other dogs, and will enthusiastically play fetch for hours. It's clear he was once someone's beloved pet, as he readily brings the ball back, but sadly, he was found as a stray and never reclaimed. While gentle when taking treats, he can be a bit "mouthy" like many active puppies when playing, nipping gently with his mouth. This behavior stems from a longing for attention and is easily corrected with redirection. Once he's had a good romp and play session, Tiger settles down considerably. He adores being played with, receiving pets, and is very enthusiastic about meal times, acting as if he's never been sure where his next meal is coming from. He's not possessive with his food and is fine with people nearby or petting him while he eats. Tiger also does well in his kennel at night.

Ideal Home

Tiger would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise. He loves to play with other dogs and enjoys human interaction.

Tiger is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Tiger can be a "mouthy pup" and may gently nip during play due to his exuberance and need for attention. This is a correctable behavior that can be managed with redirection and consistent training. Ensuring he gets adequate exercise will also help him settle down.
