BRIGHTON

Brighton is a precious 2-year-old, 11-pound Maltese mix who bravely overcame a difficult past. He arrived at a local shelter with gunshot wounds to his right front leg, which was shattered beyond repair and had to be amputated. Brighton has adapted wonderfully to life as a tripod, navigating his world with impressive agility. He can easily hop into cars and onto the couch, and nothing seems to slow him down! He's become his foster's best friend, following her everywhere, enjoying lap time, and sleeping soundly on her bed at night. Brighton gets along with other dogs but isn't overly playful with them, and he seems to ignore the foster's cats. He's house-trained and walks well on a leash. This sweet boy is looking for a loving home where he can receive plenty of TLC.

Ideal Home

Brighton needs a home where he can get lots of TLC. We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Brighton's leg was amputated due to gunshot wounds. He has adapted well to being a tripod. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and boosters, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Brighton is house-trained and does well on a leash. He needs to be adopted by an experienced dog owner.
