Ernie

Ernie is a sweet young Lab mix, approximately 3 years old and weighing 68 lbs. He was found as a puppy with his brother and brought to ARFhouse. He's been at the sanctuary for a long time and feels that perhaps no one wants a black dog, but he spends his days happily playing in a large, fenced yard with his best friend. Ernie is very friendly and affectionate, and he absolutely loves the water! He gets along great with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Ernie would not be suitable for an apartment due to his size and energy level. He needs a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play freely.

Ongoing Health

Ernie's adoption fee of $200.00 includes his neuter, deworming, vaccinations, and microchip.

Training & Support

Because Ernie has spent most of his life at the sanctuary, it might take him a little longer than most to adjust to a new home, but he promises to do his best and be a wonderful companion.

Transportation

Ernie is currently located at our facility in Sherman, TX. Adoptions are by appointment only. If approved, we will contact you within 48 hours to set up a time to meet Ernie.
