Athena

Athena is a sweet and devoted 3-4 year old Rottweiler who was rescued from a breeding situation in rural Mississippi. She's been through a lot, but her spirit remains bright! After her puppies found their forever homes, it's her turn to find a family to call her own. She's not shy at all and greets everyone with enthusiastic kisses and wags, truly believing she's a lap dog.

Ideal Home

Athena would love a home where she can be showered with affection. She does not do well with cats, but she is a good companion for respectful dogs.

Ongoing Health

Athena is spayed and vaccinated. She is currently completing treatment for heartworm. She weighs 65 pounds and would benefit from gaining a little more weight.

Training & Support

Athena is house-trained. With her loving nature, she's sure to adapt well to her new home with patience and continued positive reinforcement.
