SQUASH

Squash just wants to be loved! He was on the run for about two weeks before he was caught. His running partner, Kale, a beagle, was trapped and brought to us first. They were reunited and are now in a foster home. Squash is estimated to be around 6 years old and weighs 17 lbs. He can be a little anxious at first but he does mellow out. He absolutely loves to cuddle and plays well with the other dogs in his foster home. Squash can do stairs and enjoys car rides. When he gets excited, he has a "siren" that goes off! He does not like his crate at night, but he will happily go right to his own bed and lay down, sleeping through the night. He will sit and drool for his food and treats. Squash is a quick learner and does well on leash. He enjoys following his people around in the fenced yard. He is house-trained and uses a doggy door.

Ideal Home

Squash enjoys the company of other dogs and has been noted to be good with children under 8.
