Bolken

Meet Bolken, or as his friends call him, Bob! This handsome 1-year-old, 45 lb boy is incredibly friendly, outgoing, and absolutely loves meeting new people. Bob's tail wags with his whole body, and he greets every day with joy, always thrilled to see you and happily flopping over for belly rubs. He loves a good benebone or chew, and has the cutest ears ever! Bob is ready to leave his past behind and start fresh with a family who will love him as much as he'll love them.

Ideal Home

With his higher energy level, Bob may do best with dog-savvy kids or active adopters. His enthusiasm can come on strong with other dogs, but he takes corrections well and just wants to play. He could thrive with another dog as long as it’s the right match for his upbeat, playful style. He has done a great job respecting older dogs in his foster home who don't want to play with him. Cats remain an unknown.

Training & Support

Bob is still working on his potty training but tries his best to let you know when he needs to go out. He does well in his crate overnight and settles nicely, though he will bark if he hears you nearby and is ready for company.

• From there, we’d schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home.

Bolken is located in Aurora. Transportation may be available to the Wags adoption center.
