Klarabella is a delightful 2-year-old Caramelo Dog / Lab mix who weighs around 46 pounds. She's an outgoing, energetic, and super affectionate girl who absolutely adores being around people and loves to play! Klarabella is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, children, men, and women. Her fun-loving personality brings so much excitement and joy wherever she goes. She soaks up attention, loves to play, and forms incredibly strong bonds with her favorite humans.
Klarabella's past wasn't always so bright. She was found wandering the streets of Houston for a while, with no one to help her. She found a temporary home near a mobile taco stand, where the owner kindly fed her. The owner grew concerned when Klarabella went into heat and reached out for help to ensure she wouldn't have puppies. Thankfully, Klarabella was rescued just in time and finally received the safety and care she deserved. Despite her tough beginnings, Klarabella remains loving, playful, and full of life, ready for her next chapter.
Ideal Home
Klarabella would thrive in a home with families that enjoy outdoor activities and have a fenced backyard. She also needs a home with people who have an open mind and understanding about the needs of rescued street animals, recognizing their need for protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training is a plus, as is high tolerance and patience for rescued pups.
Ongoing Health
Klarabella has completed her spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, has been dewormed, tested negative for heartworm, and received a health certificate with a vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Klarabella is not yet house-trained. Like many active young dogs, she can be a bit mischievous and enjoys destroying plastic items, containers, and toys if left unattended. She will do best with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and durable chew toys. Potential adopters should be prepared for the ongoing work and patience required for a rescued animal.

Transportation
Klarabella is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available to travel to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest if adopted. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to the pet's departure.
