Maximus, estimated birthday 04/08/2021, is a 54.7lb husky with a heart of gold! He was found wandering a shopping center parking lot, greeting everyone with a wagging tail, and that's exactly the kind of loving spirit he brings to his new life. Max is a true people pup who adores being by your side, following you like a fluffy shadow and happily settling down near you. For a husky, he has a remarkably calm demeanor, content to relax at home or head out for an adventure. He's friendly with everyone, great with kids, and generally gets along well with other dogs. Max already knows "sit," "paw," and "stay," is potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash, though he can get a bit sidetracked by squirrels or cats! He truly thrives on companionship and being a part of your daily life, whether you're out and about or just chilling on the couch.
Ideal Home
Max thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around more often or can help him build confidence with being alone. A friendly dog sibling would also be a wonderful addition for him.

Max is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He is also kennel and potty trained.

Transporation
Maximus is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state, with pickup locations varying to nearby towns or states. Ground transports operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and will receive updates.
