About 26-014 Bane

Meet Nino Bane – 18 months old, 53 pounds. Nino Bane is a young guy with a big personality packed into a compact body. With his chunky neck, smaller frame, and adorable little stub tail, he’s hard not to notice. At just 18 months old, he’s still learning about the world, but he’s already shown that he’s a loving dog who just wants to be part of the family. Nino’s biggest joy in life is being involved with his people. He thrives on companionship and would not do well in a home where he is left alone for long periods of time. He wants to know what you’re doing and would much rather be part of it. He is also very food motivated—crunchy treats and dinner time are serious business. In fact, Nino gets so enthusiastic about treats that it’s safest to drop them on the floor rather than hand-feeding, unless you’re very quick with your fingers. When it comes to other animals, Nino has done well in his foster home. He lives peacefully with other dogs and cats. He does best with dogs that don’t enjoy rough play, as that style of play is not really his thing. Calm or older dogs can actually be a great match for him since he is happy to simply coexist and leave them alone. When he’s tired, Nino is great about putting himself to bed in his kennel, which he sees as his safe place. He’s also quite communicative when he needs to go outside—both vocally and by ringing bells to let you know it’s potty time. One of the fun parts about Nino is watching him discover toys. He’s still learning how to play, and seeing him run around with a soccer ball or tennis ball is pretty entertaining. Overall, Nino Bane is a very loving, food-motivated young dog who wants to be part of a home where he can be included, guided, and loved as he continues to grow into the great companion he’s already showing he can be.
