Lila, a young mixed-breed sweetheart with warm caramel coloring, gentle eyes, and a calm, loving presence, has quickly captured the hearts of her foster family. The children there affectionately call her “Chocolate Chip,” a nickname that perfectly captures her sweet, comforting, and utterly lovable nature. Lila possesses a naturally gentle energy. She enjoys playing and being social but carries herself with a soft, easygoing confidence that makes her incredibly pleasant to have around. She’s not the type to demand constant attention; instead, she's content to be quietly nearby, simply enjoying being part of the moment.
Lila greets new people with warmth and curiosity, settles easily into new environments, and is completely comfortable with handling. She adores being around children and has a steady, patient temperament that makes her feel safe and trustworthy from the outset. Growing up with other dogs has made her a very social girl. She thrives with canine companionship and feels most secure when another dog is around. She's playful, submissive, and easygoing with other pups, the kind of dog who can read a room and go with the flow. For Lila to continue to shine, we'd ideally love to see her in a home with another friendly dog sibling.
Ideal Home
Lila would thrive in a home with another friendly dog. She is also recommended for homes with children 10 years and over.
Ongoing Health
Lila has a slight difference in one of her eyes due to an old injury from when she was a baby. She healed beautifully and it does not affect her at all.
Training & Support
Lila is eager to please and responds well to gentle guidance. She is still learning basic skills like leash walking and crate training, but she is cooperative and adaptable, making her a wonderful dog to train and grow with.

Transportation
Lila is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week.
