Sully

Sully is a sweet and gentle soul with a heart full of love. He's a male Labrador Mix, approximately 3-4 years old and weighs around 50 lbs. Sully has a congenital hip condition, and unfortunately, surgery is not an option. This means he cannot remain standing for long periods and needs a calm, low-activity lifestyle. Despite his condition, Sully absolutely loves car rides and enjoys taking in the scenery. He is a very social and friendly boy who trusts easily and enjoys being around people and other dogs, though he's not a big fan of constant physical contact. Sully has a beautiful smile that makes him look like the happiest dog in the world and will love his family just as deeply.

Ideal Home

Sully needs a peaceful home where he can rest comfortably, receive lots of affection, and live without the need for much exercise. A fenced backyard is preferred. He would do best in a home with experienced dog owners or those willing to hire a trainer, as he is not house-trained and requires patience and understanding.

Ongoing Health

Sully has a congenital hip condition for which surgery is not an option. He requires a low-activity lifestyle. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm. He receives monthly preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.

Training & Support

Sully is not house-trained and will require patience and consistent training. He also needs owners who understand the needs of rescued animals and are committed to providing a supportive environment.

• If approved, an adoption contract will be signed, and the adoption fee will be collected upon your pet's arrival.

Transporation

Sully is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast via our cross-country transport service. This service operates 3-4 times a year with a dedicated transport company that brings pets to the US and Canada. A transport fee of $400 USD applies. Adopters will be part of a private Facebook Messenger group for real-time updates during the journey.
