Polo

Meet Polo, our wobbly and wonderful boy! Polo's journey to us was a tough one. He arrived malnourished and heartworm-positive, facing more challenges than any dog should endure. After months of dedicated care, treatment, and love, Polo is finally ready to find his forever home. He has a neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which makes him a bit "wobbly" on his feet. You'll notice him bounce, wiggle, and high-step when he walks, but what you won't see is any lack of joy. Polo doesn't know he's different, and that's part of what makes him so special. He is sweet, happy, full of personality, and loves human connection. He's also mentally sharp and eager to engage, a true survivor with a heart of gold.

Ideal Home

Polo would thrive in a calm home environment, ideally without small children. A safe space with minimal stairs and non-slip rugs or surfaces would greatly help him navigate his surroundings. He needs a patient, loving human who can see his abilities and not his limitations.

Ongoing Health

Polo has been treated for heartworm and has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Dogs with CH live long, happy, and pain-free lives, they just need a little extra support.

Training & Support

Polo is a survivor who has already fought so hard for his second chance. He just needs someone to believe in him.
