Handsome Randy, also known as Minion, is a purebred cattle dog with all the best traits of the breed, including a cute little bobbed tail! He's an active, funny, very smart, loving, affectionate, and downright goofy guy. Minion is also quite clever, sometimes a little too clever for his own good! A 7-year-old friend who visits often came up with his nickname, and it stuck. Minion gets along wonderfully with kids, though he might be a bit too energetic for very small children. He also does well with other dogs and isn't dominant, but he can hold his own. He's even had exposure to farm animals. Minion has a prey instinct, which is useful for keeping squirrels away from the hen house and apple tree! He's not overly fond of cats, but he's smart enough to back off when given a firm "no." He's a fantastic traveler in the car and is trustworthy enough to stay close even in an unfenced yard. This playful pup adores his toys, often tossing tennis balls for himself to chase, and he's a real treat to watch with his stuffed toys! Minion forms strong bonds and will begin to follow you like a shadow after just a couple of days. Happily, he's not needy and doesn't suffer from separation anxiety. He's a tolerant, gentle, and loving little cutie-patootie who would make a wonderful companion for a family.
