Mickey is a delightful puppy who wakes up every day with boundless enthusiasm for whatever adventures await! He's playful, happy, and bursting with personality, loving nothing more than to spend time with his favorite humans. Mickey is always ready to transform an ordinary afternoon into an exciting game of fetch.
This energetic boy has plenty of puppy zest for running, playing, and exploring, but he's also a pro at winding down. Once he's had his fill of zoomies, Mickey is more than happy to snuggle up for some quality time and cuddles with his people.
Mickey is a smart cookie who genuinely enjoys learning new things. He's currently mastering basic commands like "sit" and "stay," and his progress is impressive! One of his proudest accomplishments is quickly learning to use the doggy door like a seasoned pro. This new skill has been a huge help with his house-training, showcasing his eagerness to learn.
When it's time for bed, Mickey settles into his crate without a fuss and sleeps soundly through the night, typically for 8-10 hours. He's adapted quickly to his nightly routine, making him a wonderful houseguest.
With his playful spirit, affectionate nature, and eagerness to learn, Mickey embodies everything we love about puppies. Mickey's adoption fee includes vaccines up to time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter, and 30 days of free pet insurance (you must sign up for it to take effect).
Training & Support
Mickey is currently working on basic commands like "sit" and "stay" and is making great progress. He has quickly mastered the doggy door and uses it like a pro, which has greatly aided his house-training. He settles nicely into his crate at night and sleeps well.

- An approved application is required to schedule a meet and greet.
- Approved applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate on our website. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.
- If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.
- Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while they wait for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for other animals in our rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.
Transporation
The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. Meet and greets are by appointment only.
