Idgie

Meet Idgie, a beautiful 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, weighing about 62 pounds. With her striking looks and soulful eyes, Idgie has a quiet presence that draws you in. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully up to date on all her care, ready to head straight into her forever home. Idgie enjoys having a canine companion and truly shines around people. She's also cat-friendly and has been around children of various ages, always remaining calm and gentle, making her a wonderful fit for a family environment.

Ideal Home

Idgie would love a home with at least one other dog her size to be her buddy. A yard with at least 6-foot fencing is recommended due to her being an escape artist.

Idgie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Idgie is fully housebroken and crate trained. She does show some resource guarding around her food bowl, so she is fed separately from other pets. This has been easily managed, and she has no issues with treats, toys, or bones. She can be a bit of an escape artist, so secure fencing is important.

Transporation

Idgie is currently located with her foster family. Transports run every few weeks and dogs will be on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
