Meet Mia, our brave and beautiful Mamma Mia! Mia's story is one of heartbreak turned into hope. She was found desperately needing rescue, tied up outside while her puppies were placed in a box and thrown into the trash. Though someone eventually pulled the pups out, they were still kept out of her reach. Mia was frantic, malnourished, covered in ticks, and terrified.

Mia and her babies recovered safely, and this incredible mama finally got the chance to rest, heal, and just be a dog again. Mia today is sweet, playful, and great with other dogs. She is loving and gentle now that she knows she is safe. She is likely a cattle dog/heeler mix, healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. Mia gave everything she had to protect her pups, even when the world was not kind to her. Now it is her turn to be cherished. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a survivor's heart, Mamma Mia is ready to meet you.

Transporation

Mia is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters can arrange for transport via flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. For Canadian adopters, transportation to the US border (Peace Arch Park) is an option if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, especially during summer months.
