Cori

Cori is a sweet 8-year-old Beagle girl with an adorable underbite. She was clearly well-loved in her previous home, but sadly, her mom passed away. Now, Cori is looking for a forever home where she can be spoiled again. She was sent to a certified professional dog trainer to better understand some behaviors. Cori was already on medication for general anxiety, and after thorough behavioral and medical evaluations, it was discovered her underbite was causing jaw pain, affecting her interactions. Since starting daily anti-inflammatory medication, Cori has bloomed beautifully. According to her trainer, she now has a good appetite and is a "total foodie." Her confidence has increased, she's more playful, more at ease meeting new people, and has learned to ignore distractions while on leash. Cori is ready to find her new forever home!

Ideal Home

Cori would thrive in an adult-only home where she can have ample time to settle in and enjoy a quiet lifestyle. She would prefer to be the only dog in the household. A fenced yard is a must, as she is house-trained but does not potty on leash.

Ongoing Health

Cori is on daily anti-inflammatory medication for jaw pain caused by her underbite.

Training & Support

Cori has improved significantly with professional training and medication. She is now more confident, playful, and better at ignoring distractions on leash. She enjoys socialization at doggy daycare and does well with cats.
