Strider

Meet Strider! He is a 13-month-old, 60 lb Lab Mix who is already neutered.

Strider made his way to us from Georgia, and watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding. While he may take a little time to warm up to new people and unfamiliar places, once he feels comfortable, his sweet, goofy personality really starts to shine. He is house-trained and crate-trained, loves other dogs, and is happy to relax and enjoy quiet evenings with his people. He is sweet, thoughtful, gentle, and enjoys belly rubs once he trusts you! Strider also enjoys watermelon, blueberries, and pup cups. One of his favorite places is Buddy's Daycare, where he continues to build confidence and play with his canine friends.

Ideal Home

Strider truly blossoms with a canine companion, so a confident, friendly medium-to-large dog is a must. He would also thrive in a home with a fenced yard for playtime with his new sibling. He needs a patient family who understands that some dogs need a little time to settle in and appreciates a consistent routine. Older, respectful children would be a good fit. Cats have not been tested, but he may be okay with proper introductions.

Strider is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Strider is house-trained and crate-trained. He is still building confidence and would benefit from a consistent routine and a patient family.
