Hi there! My name is Caramel, though some of my favorite people call me Caramella! I'm a sweet, playful, and cuddly Labrador Retriever mix with an estimated birthday of April 8, 2026, and I weighed in at 11.9lbs on June 3, 2026.
I might be a little shy when I first meet new faces or encounter new things, but a little patience and a few gentle scratches will quickly show you my true, loving personality. Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely adore attention – belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and compliments are all welcome! I have so much love to give and can't wait to share it with my forever family. My days are filled with fun, like carrying toys around, playing with my brother, exploring, and taking well-deserved naps. I'm also a smart cookie! I'm doing great with crate training and often go into my crate on my own. I'm also working on my potty manners and am getting pretty good with my puppy pads. More than anything, I'm looking for a family to help me build my confidence and show me all the wonderful things life has to offer. Transporation
I am currently located in Houston, TX, and transport is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
