The sweetest boy around: Meet Cody-Bear. This gentlemen came to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of his own - the former owner had too many pets. Cody-Bear is very gentle, loyal, and affectionate. We're not sure of what his past looked like, but he is timid and fearful of strangers, at first. He loves to bring you his toy and show you how proud of it he is. He knows sit and lay down. He walks well on a leash when he trusts you, but he's still learning how to be comfortable around new people. Sweet Cody-Bear has shown no aggression or signs of negative behavior. He is just a scared, confused old man trying to navigate his way around a loud, scary shelter. Cody-Bear is dog friendly, but he would need a very slow introduction. He is neutral around cats and doesn't seem to care much about them. Cody-Bear loves children. He seems very comfortable around them. We think Cody-Bear would do best in a quieter home with someone that can show him tons of love and patience. He is 5-6 years old, so his high-energy days are way behind him.
