Meet Eve, a beautiful black and brindle girl with soft, soulful eyes and a heart that's just waiting for the chance to shine. She was rescued alongside her siblings, Rex and Alana, after spending her entire young life living in a tiny, confined area. Because they had so little exposure to the world, the three dogs missed out on important socialization during puppyhood. Of the siblings, Eve is the shyest. New people, unfamiliar places, and everyday life can still feel overwhelming to her. She isn't quite ready to trust the world—but you can tell she wants to. Every small step she takes is a victory, and with patience and kindness, she's slowly learning that people can be safe and loving. When she's with Rex and Alana, Eve's playful personality begins to peek through. She enjoys running, playing, and simply being a carefree dog with her siblings by her side. Away from them, however, her confidence disappears, and she'll need a family willing to help her discover that she can be brave on her own. Eve's date of birth is 4/13/2025 and she weighs about 35 pounds.
Ideal Home
Eve needs a home that understands her need for patience and kindness as she learns to trust. A 6ft+ secure fenced yard is required, and invisible fences are not accepted.
Ongoing Health
Eve has had an extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian. She is up to date on all vaccinations and is spayed. She is microchipped.
Training & Support
Eve is shy and can be overwhelmed by new people, places, and everyday life. She needs a patient and understanding family that celebrates small victories, never rushes her, and gives her the time she needs to build trust. She gains confidence when with her siblings, Rex and Alana, and will need a family willing to help her discover her bravery on her own.

- A fenced yard (required for most dogs) and home inspection are required for all animals.
- A veterinary reference for previous pet owners is required. If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3-month heartworm prevention is required.
- If renting, verification with the landlord on pet acceptability and any restrictions is required.
- A meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibility is required.
- We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).
- We do a physical home/fence inspection prior to completing the adoption if a fence is required.
