Meet Rex! This handsome 1-year-old Pittie mix is full of life, fun, and love to give! Rex came to us with a significant hip injury that required surgery when he was a pup. After extensive recovery, he's feeling better than ever and you'd never guess he had such a serious injury. He's a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs and has even been a star on "Doggy Day Outs," meeting new people at restaurants like a seasoned pro! Rex is working on his leash skills and household manners, and he absolutely adores a good belly rub. He's eager to learn, ready to face anything, and promises unconditional love to his forever family. We've promised Rex the rest of his life will be the best of his life – could you be the one to make that happen?

Ideal Home

Rex loves other dogs and enjoys meeting new people. He is still learning household manners and leash skills.

Ongoing Health

Rex underwent major hip surgery when he was younger. He has made a full recovery and you would never know he had a previous injury.

Training & Support

Rex is still learning his leash skills and household manners. Like all rescue dogs, he will benefit from continued training and socialization in his new home.

Transporation

Rex is currently located in South Carolina. We provide transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
