Henny Penny is a delightful girl who has made incredible progress since arriving at our rescue. She was part of a confiscation situation and has been with us for a year, blossoming into a wonderful companion. Henny Penny adores other dogs and plays joyfully with them. Once she builds trust, she becomes incredibly affectionate, though a touch of caution from her past may always remain. She's bravely overcoming her blocks, and it took three months for her to willingly leave her crate and come to us. Now, she craves your company and wants to be with you all the time! While she's not keen on being picked up, she tolerates it. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and we're actively working on leash skills, with steady progress.

Henny Penny would thrive in a home with another kind, playful dog who can be her best friend. A fenced yard is a must for her to safely explore and enjoy zoomies. She needs an adopter or long-term foster who understands dog behavior and can offer plenty of patience and love.
