Tucker Teddy is a roughly 1-year-old Lab mix, weighing around 58 lbs with big paws, so he might grow a little more. He's an absolute heartbreaker with his angel-baby eyes, forever puppy face, and adorable bubble lip. Tucker has a perfectly balanced affection style – he's not overly clingy but will happily lean in for pets, curl up beside you, and quietly follow you from room to room, offering just enough connection to make you feel loved. He's a dog who wants to be part of your life without needing to be the center of attention.
Ideal Home
Tucker would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and explore. He's doing well with a 5-year-old, showing gentleness and a calm, happy-to-be-included energy, but he's not suited for constant chaos or fast, loud movements. A home with kind children who understand a dog's need for personal space would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Tucker is a rescue dog, and as such, his exact breed and age cannot be guaranteed. He is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed/neutered and microchipped.
Training & Support
Tucker is still building confidence in new environments. The vacuum cleaner is currently a source of suspicion. Having another confident dog in the home would greatly help him continue to blossom and feel more secure. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely do well with a playful, confident female dog. He has also shown to be respectful of cats.

Transporation
Tucker is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with specific pickup points). A transportation surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
