Luna

Luna is a 1.5-year-old, 9lb bundle of Chihuahua and Corgi mix who is ready to shower her new family with love! She is a shy girl at first and needs a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she'll be your shadow! Luna absolutely loves to snuggle and is perfectly content just lounging in your lap. She also enjoys a good game of fetch with her favorite toys or a ball. Luna is good with dogs, cats, and kids.

Ideal Home

Luna would thrive in a home where someone is around often, as she doesn't do well with being left alone for long periods. She needs a secure, fenced-in yard where she can play with her people, and she would love to have another small, friendly dog companion. Luna needs to be allowed on furniture and sleep in her human's bed. A home that provides leadership, consistency, and structure will help her continue to thrive. Please note, Luna is a VERY HIGH jumper and has been known to clear a 2.5-foot-high dog pen.

Ongoing Health

Luna is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Luna is working on her house training and is currently pee pad and crate trained. She can bark at strangers and when people are at the door or when she's people-watching out a window, but she is quiet otherwise. Luna's new family should be prepared to continue working on her training and provide consistent guidance. She also needs at least two weeks to settle into her new home without visitors to build trust.
